An undergraduate look at the working economy.

The Washington University Journal of Economics is a student publication that covers the state of the economy at three scales: the St. Louis local economy, the United States national economy, and the international economy. Our writers review the data releases, policy decisions, and market moves that shape the moment.

We publish on a rolling basis rather than in fixed editions, so reviews go up as they are finished. Recent work covers artificial intelligence and the economy, Missouri House Bill 3231, and the crypto-asset economy.

Written by students. Edited like a journal.

WUJOE is led by an undergraduate executive board, with editors carrying each review from first draft through publication. Every piece is written and edited by Washington University in St. Louis students.
